WHY HERE?

Last time I stayed in a hotel, I asked the front desk where to go for sushi and a good drink. It’d been a long day. “This spot in Kirkland’s makes a wicked spider roll, but it’s BYO,” he said.

“Maps says that’s 45 minutes away from here,” I replied, stomach rumbling. “Any other suggestions?” He handed me a binder full of chain takeout menus.

On my next trip to Seattle I booked with a Capitol Hill host who recommended Liberty.

I haven’t stayed in a hotel since.

WHAT I’D LIKE TO DO
  • Copy for travel guides, social posts, blogs, etc.
  • Creative production for brand-related media (location shoots, videos, podcasts, etc.)
GUIDE TO PROVIDENCE
Like its harbor winds, Providence vacillates between New England reserve and brusque humor. You’re as likely to run into an art student manning the local pop-up as you are a dock worker grabbing his AM coffee.

Both will agree Boston’s overrated.

A cherry bomb of art, education, and cultural confluence, Providence’s heart is just as much Revolution-era homes and Ivy universities as it is tattoo shops and taquerias.

¿Porque no los dos?
Come for the coffee milk, stay for the cuisine—locavores dish their top picks for PVD’s best eats.

When in roam...

From latte to late nights, here are some of my favorite PVD spots.
The lightning bolt isn’t just for show. White Electric is West Side’s finest caffeine supplier. Pour-overs, Italian roasts, fluffy London Fogs with local lavender syrup—W.E. does it all.
Get lost in the sea of shelves at Frog & Toad.  Between the  indie bops and wall-to-wall curios, you’re sure to walk out with at least one novelty votive candle.
Fusion, meet flavor — Mokban’s spin on bibimbap packs tender rice, chili pork, and pristine quail yolks into a stone bowl topped with house-made pickles.

A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

Destination, meet traveler.

TOP 3 BUCKET LIST CITIES
  • Budapest, Berlin, and Barcelona.
I COULD LIVE IN EITHER…
  • Seattle or Brooklyn—nothing’s better than urban camaraderie on a rainy day.
FAVORITE TRAVEL MOMENT
  • Trastevere’s 1 AM “Opa!” moments—clinking glasses and wine-stained cobbles, offset by laughter below our villa window. Rome really comes alive after dark.
